In 2013, David Leland Hyde gave PowerPoint guest lectures in art and environmental science classes at Feather River College in Quincy, California. FRC is in the top 10 academically of all community colleges in California.
In November 2010, David Leland Hyde spoke at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival. See the blog post, "Colorado Environmental Film Festival." His PowerPoint slide show presented at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival was the basis for other slide shows on Philip Hyde's life in conservation and photography presented at libraries, museums, colleges, universities and parks. David Leland Hyde's latest talk was in Dianne Lipscomb's Art Appreciation class at Feather River College last week.
